Board for building airplanes on
After an absence of 30 years I have returned to building airplanes (Electric). I'm looking for a composition board that I can stick pins into without butchering my fingers. Any suggestions????

RE: Board for building airplanes on
Hmm, you made the qualification of not butchering your fingers... I was going to say a simple hollow-core door. I've been pinning into mine for years, but it does take some force to get the pins to penetrate. They do hold once driven in, though.
A common building surface is a nice flat hollow core door topped off with Homasote board. Common sheet rock drywall is another good topper, and cheap.
