motor stops then starts again
I have a p/z Spitfire. My motor will starts then run down fast after about 30 seconds it will quit then start several times without touching the throtle. sometimes it will start again if I move the power up or down. Then it will not shut off, I have to unplug the batt. Any ideas

I agree that it sounds like a bad speed controller. Contact Horizon Hobby and they will probably send you a replacement at no cost.
