Default Terms??

Sorry if this is a really supid question, but hey this is a beginner forum right??? what exactly is a servo? does it have something to do w/ the engine? Radio? thanks.

A servo is a gizmo that moves control surfaces and throttle basically anything that needs to move is done by means of a servo

This is a Servo. Inside is a little motor with gears. You put these Servos on the wings, rudder, elevator, landing gear or where ever you need movement. Each servo is controled via a Channel from your radio. Hope that helps a bit.

yeah i see what you mean akirk. so is there more than one servo? darenm said that you put them on all the moving parts. do you just mean that it's attached in some way to all the different moving parts. i.e the wings, rudder, elevator, ect.? thanks for the picture!!!
