Take a look at the MiniSuperCub from HobbyZone and the J3Cub and SuperDecathlon from ParkZone.

I have the super decathalon for a couple months now and love it. It was easy to fly when I started out now I'm ready to increase the throws. It has decent speed and does loops rolls and inverted with no problem. I would highly recommend this plane.

So far I'm relatively pleased with my Nexstar Mini - close to the size you're wanting

Parkzone T28 is indeed a nice one, but note it is a low wing and these require abit more attention at the stick than a high wing, with the help of a seasoned flyer you might pull it off there, caution as a first ship tho......would favor the larger Apprentice, bigger than what your asking for but a nice flyer, the Wing Dragon 4 is a nice opener, not pretty but made it for many and low investment..BEST
