2nd plane with ailerons?
 

Any aileron plane suggestions would be helpful, thx.

The GWS E-Starter is a good second plane. Full-house controls and everything!

I have heard some good things about this plane, but I dont really want to get another foamie plane.(rather go with balsa) Do you have one? The reason I dont really like foam is from bad expierience with the firebird. I really despise those[:@] How much does it cost with everything needed?

Wow, most people have very good experiences with the Firebird series of planes. I've seen a Firebird Commander get away to the point where it was little more than a dot in the sky, yet we were able to fly it back with my "eagle eye" to call out which way to go, the pilot on the throttle, and another instructor on the rudder. It must've been half a mile away :)

If you want a balsa bird, you can't beat Mountain Models's stuff. http://www.mountainmodels.com I think the Dandy Sport is what you should be looking at.

I have checked it out and it looks good, but its close to $300 complete with everything! Thats a little more than I'd like to spend.

Hobby Lobby still has the Akro Flik available in their fire sale for $59. I picked up one that other day after reading the positive reviews it's receive and the fact that it will run fine with a regular Speed 400.

I guess I don't know what you included in the price of the Dandy being $300, But lets say you need the entire set up.

Laser 4 Tx / Rx Feather $115
one extra servo $20
Motor and ESC $40
Battery $25
Charger $45
Kit $45

Bye including all this you can get up to $300. But, all but the motor and the kit are tansferable to the next plane.

How are you going to get into a balsa plane for less than $45?

This is a great set up and puts you in a position to move up your skill set.

If you're moving up to a 4ch plane, plan on spending at least $300. As far as what to buy, to learn aileron flying, I'd suggest Wattage's Crazy Max. Flys great, and is easily repairable. It's cheap at $45 bucks, comes with the motor/gearbox/prop. So then you need a radio $80-120,(try to find a used Hitec Flash5x as it has expo. and dual rates. Extra servo$15-25, battery(ies)($25-$75), and charger(MRC's SuperBrain $60).
