I'd only buy on ebay if it came with a "I get to kick you in the gonads if it doesn't work" money back guarantee.

GWS Rx products come in negative and positive shift. Has to do with some frequency mumbo-jumbo, which side of the main frequency the signal lies on or something like that. Futaba and Hitec are negative shift. Airtronics and JR are positive shift.

I tried looking at the GWS website what shift the GWS transmitters use, but my link is very slow and didn't find anything out.

God, I hope you didn't buy that TX....

It's an older one...and it says doesn't have a crystal..hence doesn't work until you send it back to the manufacturer.

I had a Dreamstarter Radio last year, but quickly out grew it.

This may be an interesting read for you:

Will give you a bit of a hint what to look for.

Also, GWS Radios come in positive shift.

I recommend the Futaba 6EXA as well, it's a GREAT beginner radio. You can pick one up at Bruckner Hobbies www.brucknerhobbies.com for under 100.00 without the flight pack.

You don't need the flight pack, since it has the larger servos, which are way to big, and to much overkill weightwise for any parkflyer.
