hi to all. considering getting into the hobby. no previous exp. have read elec helos are considerably harder to fly than nitro. should a newb start w/elec helos? any suggested reading materials? what helo/equip? i'm going buy AFP(sim) to start. any suggestions appreciated. tia.

you would probably get more help if you posted this in the Heli board, and i hope you mean Heli by helo

First, download FMS simulator, fly the heck out of it, then buy a slow model. If not, you will just irritate yourself and spend money that did not need spent. I did it backwards and am paying for it. Literally...
