Great Planes Slinger

I just bought and flew a Slinger from Great Planes...it is awesome. I had trouble with the rx, I think it might be too close to the motor. Does this sound like it makes sense?? Also should I solder capacitors on the motor.

Also does anyone know of a good brushed upgrade and an easy brushless upgrade too. I am flying 3s Kokam.

Thanks,

Joe

Yes you want copassitators on your motor. YOu should not have to worry abou the reciever.

I think the reason you had problems with your receiver was probobly due to not having the capacitors on your motor, The capacitors cut down on "noise" (not real noise but electrical noise) from the motor which can cause problems with your receiver.

Also you might check and see how far away your ESC is from your receiver, ive read if its too close it can cause interferance but ive mounted mine right next to my receiver with no problems so it might just be certian ones that do it.
