Easy Star: Need HELP!!!!!!!!
Hi, I have had previous expierence with electric airplanes and I have decided to get a new one and with christmas coming along, I decided I want to get an Easy Star by Multiplex RTF version. However this is the dilemma; I have read in previos posts about the easy star but most people had modifications like cobalt and brushless motors in them and high capacity batteries. However I am on a budget crisis(splitting half of the plane cost with my dad) and I wanted to know if the Easy Star flies right out of the box. Like no modifications at all stock motor, and battery. If someone could please help me I would appreciate!!!!!!!

RE: Easy Star: Need HELP!!!!!!!!
Flies great out of the box. The RTF flies well and the only change you might want to make eventually is to get a larger battery pack. The kit version I built to use as our club trainer has been flying fo over a year, with 8c 1800 nimh and 8c 1100 nicd. IMHO best electric trainer on the market.

RE: Easy Star: Need HELP!!!!!!!!
I built the kit version which I flew per original specs until recently and it flies great! I have only done one mod: stuck some rare earth magnets to help keep the wings in place. Not much of a mod but that's all I've needed for some real fun flying.
