Battery help.

I got a plane with stock 6-cell battery 7.2V 600mah NI-Cd. Is it OK to use 7-cell 8.4V 1100mah Ni-Mh insted?

You could, would it work???????? Need some more info, What plane, what motor,what are you trying to accomplish, etc.
