Parkzone Night Flight Module

Has anyone tried out the Parkzone night-flight module, I'm interested in it and I was wondering if it's worth it at all.

I've used it on my HobbyZone Firebird Commander. It's cool. I've had people kinda freak when they see the lights moving around in the air at night. It works well once it's dark. You better know the area that you are flying in well though cause it does not light in front of the plane. It only lights the plane up. It's a fun little gaget. Not something you will use constantly.

That's part of the reason I bought the airframe for the FB2. My first plane was a Commander; lost it when the wind came up. So, I still had the transmitter, the landing gear, the "wall wart" charger which does a good job of charging my Cub's seven-cell packs and a slightly battered spare wing. I plan on using the Cub's packs. They're only 600mA compared to the 900mA the Firebird calls for and they need the little pigtail adaptor, but I'm not worried. I'll just get less runtime with more punch. :)

I figured $70 for a complete airframe with electronics was too good to pass up. Tell you what: That tail is a bit on the difficult side to set up. Note to anyone replacing the tail: Put the adjustment screws on the servo horns before you install them on the wing.

I tried it on my ABC on a dark night. Did not light the plane enough for me to see it well. Have not used it since.

White wing, yes. Not the tail. Maybe if I change that it will work better.

The white tail help a 'little'. In my opinion, the darker the better!
My favorite is the Slo V with NFM.... really fun on a black night!
