JR 6102 question

JR's website says this controller is "Available in FM and PCM modulations". Does this mean that you can purchase it aither PCM or FM. I saw one on Ebay that the seller said "The radio does both FM and PCM". I asked him how he sells just the TX by it self. He told me he sells the componants individually. Why would he do that? If I am looking at this correctly, I can parchase a slow stick for around $100 with a flight pack. The only other thing I need would be a TX. It totals up to be about $250 for a complete slow stick and a JR 6102. Does this sound like a good deal.

How much is he asking for just the radio?
