Ultrafly Extra 300S

hi all. im looking at getting a plane and would like to get something i will grow into, but i realise theres a point where the plane gets just too powerful to learn how to fly with. I'd rather not get a RTF as i want at least the radio gear, perhaps even the battery, servos etc. for other vehicles in the future.

so, is the Ultrafly Extra 300S:

possible for newbies? There's a good deal on at my LHS at the moment.

the manual says the control throws can be set fairly conservatively, and i think i got most of the crashing out of my system with a cheap push glider last year. id expect to take it -real- easy, pick weather conditions carefully etc.

out of the question? :)

i could join the local club, but i cant commit to that for a while, and would feel bad just going for lessons; furthermore the drive to the field for 1 battery pack isnt really worth it until im better setup :). so, i'd rather be mostly self taught for now.

cheers :)
