Wind Conditions?

I guess this time of the year strong and unexpected gusts of winds are normal where I live...

I ready to fly my SS just some new props for it...

Im running a 1147 prop with a D Gear box... lipo 7.4v 2100 mah..

My question is there any mods I can do to help reduce the effects of the winds...

RE: Wind Conditions?

Not really.....at least as far as I know. The SS is just so light there is not a whole lot you can do. Except add more weight I guess :D

RE: Wind Conditions?

If you change the wing, the plane can be made to handle wind a lot better. One flyer at my field put the Beaver's wing on, while another put the wing from a Graupner Mini-piper. Both flew very well in winds of 10 mph.
