getting started
 

been flying for five yrsfrom sig4stars to hanger 9 warbirds but dont no anything about elec. would really like to start . what kind of plane for the first one plus the radio equipment i need and engine and anything else to get started any help would really be good to get me going. just want something to fly for fun to get started thanks much for any help. phil

Since you have been flying for five years, you obviously don't need a beginner's trainer. It would help if you provided some information as to what you want and what your budget is. Do you want an RTF, PNP, ARF or Kit? Do you want a warbird, an aerobatic plane or something with a lot of speed? Is wind a big consideration? How big is your flying field? Ground take-offs and landings or handlaunches and bellyflop landings?

I have the MUS and fly it with my DX7. Great combination for some sport flying.

For an experience glow pilot, the Mini Ultra Stick would be an excellent choice. Get the PNP version, just add your receiver and batteries and you are sll set to go.

Or, get the RTF ParkZone F27C stryker. 70 mph right out of the box. You will love it!

There are hundreds of kits, ARFS and RTFs.
