will this setup work in a Slow Stick?

Using all of your great advise I have decided to purchase a Slow Stick.... (I think) ;

I have from a previous R/C mistake a Hitec Focus 4 with 4 standard 300 servos and a standard hitec Rx. This setup was powered with a 4 cell 650mA Ni-Cd pack. I see most use the micro setup, do I need to use the micro? I see the website says you can use standard, will it effect the building/flight much? I assume a different battery pack will be needed, but which size is the best and will my other charger still work with it? Oh, and one more thing I only have the round control horns for the servos, does the plane come with the correct horns or where can I buy them...
Thanks in advance for your help
Joe :D

The servos and reciever should work fine, they might be a little heavy. You will need a new battery pack, I suggest going smaller due to the weight of the radio gear. My buddy flies a slow stick with standard servos. You will also need a 5-10 amp speed control. I would suggest the gws ICS-100. As for the servo horns you will need to buy some at your hobby shop or on-line. Later down the road you should change to micro gear. I fly mine with gws 4 channel micro reciever, a 270mAh battery, a gws 2 amp speed control and two expert electronics sub-micro servos.
