Parkzone Spitfire or Hobbyzone Swift
Hello all,
I'm looking for my first aileron plane. I've had good practice with aerobird phantom, aerobird 3 and the supercub. Because of price I'm considering the aerobird swift or the parkzone spitfire. Any comments/advise will be appreciated. Thanks. |
RE: Parkzone Spitfire or Hobbyzone Swift
NEITHER! The Spitfire is a very nice plane but requires more advanced skills than you currently have. Wait until you are comfortable flying with ailerons, then get it. The Swift is prone to damage of the tail boom.
The best plane for you to get to learn to fly with ailerons is the ParkZone T-28 Trojan. There is simply no plane availble today that is better for moving up to aileron control. Planes that are almost as good are the Multiplex Minimag and the GWS E-starter. |
RE: Parkzone Spitfire or Hobbyzone Swift
Hello Leo, thanks for the reply,
I thought the Trojan was almost the same as Spitfire.... The Trojan is a little high on price, I'm not really concern with the boom on the Swift... lets see I have not made my mind. Thanks for the advise. |
RE: Parkzone Spitfire or Hobbyzone Swift
DO NOT GET THE AEROBIRD SWIFT !!!!
It's a complete load of junk !!!!!!! Muliplex MiniMag personally I think is better that the T28 Trojan and I know which I''d rather be picking up after a hard landing but teh T 28 does look a lot nicer. Haven't flown one but hear the GWS E-Starter is nearly as good as the MiniMag especially if you're on a budget but not as durable. |
