Default Eflight Leader 480

I put a Saito 40 on one came out at 45 ounce dry. Has that sig couger look in the air. It isnt very fast which is good for this plane. I have pics later I can upload. I did upgrade to HS65's for the wing servos and two HS85 MG's for the elevator and rudder mounted in the tail. Specktrum S-75 for nose steering and throttle. It is very good at rolls and flying upside down and I can even hover it. The down fall is it sucks at snaps, spins (will move cg back some) and knife edge. It needs alot more rudder area.

A OS 26/30 FS would be a great choice also but not as strong as the Saito. I flew it with a 10.5x6 Bolly prop on 10-15% nitro which you all know is low for a Saito. You can land at a high nose high AoA and no tip stalling. over all a nice easy to fly plane.

A 15 two stroke would just fly it with all the drag but a 25 La would be a good choice if want two stroke.

Do you think an Enya .25 2-stroke will be too much for this plane?

No but keep the pitch of the prop down and dont fly it to fast. i would use a 10x3-10x4 prop with that 25.

Knife edge with this plane isnt very good.

ok maybe this weekend if i get a chance. Nothing special with this plane. Its a good plane if like rolling, inverted, slow high alpha landing, loops. It can hover but needs alot of work to keep there.

Wow, it flies great wit the Saito 40, and it sounds right! Nice smoke trail too. So you use an electric prop on your Saito?

yes i do but it not normal. I have been around long enough to know how to use it lol. The 12x6 pulls it much better than in the video. It was windy today and trying to do anything fancy with it. it would make a great trainer on a OS15 o even the electric set up.
