Great Planes Mr. Mulligan - Saito 40
I have this thing (along with many others) for the Howard Mr. Mulligan. The Great Planes model shown has been converted to glow using a Saito 40. I just cut off the existing firewall and made up a new one of 3/16 ply and plugged the fuselage cooling holes with 1/32 ply.
Great flying A/C but is not a floater so avoid dead sticks if possible. I do use the flaps also.
I have a TF 12 X 6 prop on it and is runs very well.

Ouch! Sorry about that you are absolutely right it is Great Planes.
Just getting back from Toledo will try to get the cowl off and get a picture of the firewall mods.

I was thinking about this conversion. How many flights on it? any draw backs? other than the firewall mod anything else? Is the 40 enough or would you go bigger? Do you have any video of it flying?
Thanks,
Bill
