Anyone made the conversion of the E-flite Deuces Wild to gas?

I was re-reading the review on RCM&E. A pair of .15 engines would probably do the trick, but the GRP nacelles would need to get a decent firewall and strengthened glue joints.

It's been done with OS AX .46's. Check youtube.
Fast and nothing sounds better than two engines!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking of a four stroke conversion. I have two Saito 56's I could use, but maybe too much. A couple OS 26's maybe not enough. Maybe a couple OS 40 Surpass would be good. Whaddyathink? Always wanted to do a twin, got the plane for a really good discount, last one, not produced anymore, correct? Maybe there is a reason for that, not that old of a release is it? Good looking airframe, skip the playing card theme, ugly. I can fix that.

I once dreamed of putting Saito 40's into this plane. Maybe someday....

But it appears they no longer sell this plane?

After waiting about two years for someone to answer my questions about an electric to gas conversion for a Dueces Wild Conversion, I took the bull by the horns and did it myself. I cut out the fire walls and opened the front of the cowls for a pair of Magnum 25s to lay on their sides, putting the muffers on the bottom. Because of fuel restrictions I chose 25s and was able to put 6 OZ tanks in the nacelles with room to spare. I also used small sevos to drive the throttles. Again with room to spare.
How dow do the 25s perform, beautifully. The plane flys plenty fast.It loops and rolls with no hesitation. I bought the retracts for it(Robart), and I think they really smooth out the way the plane performs. Of course I had to install new firewals. I used a piece of cardboard to make a pattern. I glued everything in with Aero-Poxy for strength.
I know there are flyers out there that want huge engines in the plane. So be it. THe wait was worth it. I'm flying the plane with 10 x 6 props.

A wonderful idea, this plane as glow. I'd try two Saito .40's though, for the sound.

Sounds like a blast. Always thought it kinda looked like a small Pica Duelist.

Too bad its no longer available.

Difficult to get, I have found one available within a french dealer
