Default Big Chaos on gas?

I have the urge to build something. I was thinking a Bridi big Chaos with a conversion engine. Something sleek and fast apeals to me right now.

http://www.bridiairplanes.com/hangar/bigchaos.html

I was thinking of using a 23cc Stihl in this one. From there my engine stash jumps up to 50cc range. Are these types of planes going to be poor performers with a gas engine due to the lack of raw RPMs as compared to a glow engine? How much an I compensate with a coarse pitch prop?

I did one up with a RCS180..
Good flier for sport flying with that size motor, ya might want to think about going a little larger than 23cc..

I would think about 30 CC with a high pitch three blade prop for clearance.

How about an OPS Maxi 30cc spinning an 18x10 at 8000 rpm?

Here's a Brison 3.2 on a Bridi Big Bird which has Kaos type flying surfaces. I think it was origianlly intended for a Zenoah G38

Is a "big bird" simmilar to a "big bee"? I have a big bee with a 65cc echo conversion on it. It is my "old reliable".

Sorry, it is a Big Bee

Als0 the engine is not really a Brison 3.2

The engine is a Makita chainsaw 3.2 that was sent to Ralph Cunningham for conversion.

The piston.cylinder & carb are the same as on a Brison 3.2
