Default Walbro Membranes on Zama Carb can it be done?

Hello everyone.

I have been trying for two weeks now to fly a BME .90 and i havent been able even to make it fire.

It has a Zama Carb on it, and i suspect the membrane doesnt work

Can I use a Walbro Membrane on my Zama carb?

Ive measured then and they are practically identical only difference is Walbro is squared and Zama has one corner modified.

I understand it would be much easier to find a zama replacement kit but in México that is not easy business.

Any advice will be very much appreciated.

The Walbro "membrane" or diaphragm has a longer button in the middle that would need to be ground down to match the button on the Zama diaphragm. Then, in an emergency, they will work.
