Thanks Carpilot,I've got the XYZ sensor too,but I like the easy clamp setup on the CH unit.I guess I'll just use XYZ stuff.I tried the unit with the CH hub and got a nice blue spark.I just have to drill and tap my Homie for the sensor and I'm good to go.Thanks again for the info Carpilot.

If someone would look at the XYZ sensor carefully with a magnifying glass, you might be able to find some numbers and possibly a manufacturer. Then you could probably buy them at one of the electronic supply houses like Digikey for about fifty cents....

I ordered it on a Sunday on line and recieved it on that Saturday basically 1 week from Canada to North Carolina,They look like they are located near Michigan,Upper state New York area.Not to bad and it works real good.I have it set up on an Echo 1.3 and I am breaking it in on a Evolution 15x6 prop.It has been hitting a little above 8000 rpm ,now thats running on 32:1 oil ratio with lawboy oil.The throttle responce is quick almost like there was no prop on there.Instant.Almost finshed with a gallon of fuel through it.I will go with a 50;1 synthetic ratio after that.

I just tried to click on the prc link and it just goes to the empty cart-just go to crrc pro replacement parts,the ignition is for the 26 as well as the sensor.

Does anyone know if the CRCC ignition is auto advance??

The unit for the 26cc engine is listed at $35.00, and the one for the 50cc engine is listed at $38.00. I wonder what the difference is between the two??

EDIT: I checked the 26cc engine description and it says it has auto advance.... Still don't know about the price difference.

Most common hallsensors are uni-polaire.
A uni-polaire needs only a south form the (neodymium) magnet to switch on / off
A bi-polaire sensor needs a south to switch on and a north to switch off.

Big Boat...to put it simple, if our pic-up sensors have only one magnet ....are they neodymium? Like-wise if they are bi-polar...you need 2 magnets in hub? I got a feeling you could make the answers a lot more imformitive to us. Capt,n

Most magnets they use for CDI are neodymium becourse they are very strong and small becourse they are strong.
If your using a biopolaire, you don't need twoo magnets, but you have to position the magnet the hallsensor can read both sites.......norht and south.
If your using a *horsshoe* magnet, you don't have a problem.
One leg will be south and the other will be norht.
A long (straight) magnet gives your trouble, becourse the norht and south feeld are on top of the magnets in a straight line.

It is for the replacement on the crrc pro 26i in the replacement parts section.I am going to get a nother one for my homey 30cc i have just aquired.And the radio shack magnet works just fine just pass it by on either side and one will make it spark going in the correct roation-counter clock wise-I was trying both sides and it actually will spark with the other side of the magnet in the opisite dirrection!!! hmm.........imagine just having a twin engine plane with counter rotating engines!!! And by the way sometimes my echo 21.2 will start and run in reverse pretty decent too...just wont have full throttle.

there on sale as i type this $31 for the ignition $5 for the sensor!!
