Default Echo/Shindaiwa four stroke info??

My brother tells me he has scored us an Echo four stroke engine. It has Echo number PB-755 H/T. Some web research has revealed that this blower is also made by Echo FOR Shindaiwa, and has the Shindaiwa number EB633RT. But I can't find much info on it. (My brother lives 250 miles from me and we won't be seeing each other soon.) Anybody know anything about this engine???

Thanks,
AV8TOR

Thanks for the info, but I make all my own conversion parts. This engine is apparently around 63cc...

Shindaiwa number EB633RT is not a four stroke.

Easy way to tell what it is, Shin's four strokes have blue engine covers, the red covers are on two strokes.

Its too bad, because Shin's C-4 technology is better than Stihl's Four-Mix.

Well here is where I found it stated that Echo makes this particular model for Shindaiwa: http://cgi.ebay.com/EB633RT-SHINDAIW...QQcmdZViewItem

And here is where I found mention of Echo four stroke engines: http://www.alexander-mills.co.uk/echo.htm

I don't know, my brother says it is a four stroke, and that they told him at the engine shop it was a four stroke that used two stroke fuel mix. But the model number doesn't check out as a four stroke. Guess I won't know till I get my hands on it in person...

Thanks for the answers,

Did you ever get this 4 cycle engine running with a prop? I'm curious how it sounds and if it is much different than a 2 stroke gasser.

From 2009?? Are you kidding? I can't even remember what I had for dinner last night!! :-(

Seriously, I don't remember what became of that engine. I know I didn't convert it so it was probably beyond repair. I have converted several Stihl 32cc and 36cc four stroke engines however, and they are quite powerful for a four stroke and sound amazing both at idle and at revs. (I run them on a straight stack; no muffler is needed.) I haven't personally done one of the Stihl 65cc four strokes, though I have sold several of them to people to convert. One of them posted a video here in the forum and a quick search should locate it.
