"a restriction on personal importation. Its the customes duty u have to pay and more than that its the headache one has to go thru if the customes guys stop your parcel at the dist center."

Sums up quite well a major problem for hobbist in many countries. The stuff is so available in say the USA and yet getting it actually delivered reasonably is a big hinderance.

ZM2000: That is a super gesture!! Cometravi : Really need to see the pics when you finish.

Hi
I am very pleased with international cooperation between modelers.
If you have problems to take big props in the
www.rcfaq.com
have a link to carving helical pitch propellers. I make my own props for cost reason, I must work a long day to pay a decent imported prop.
I make 9 props from two types of wood, and work well in a Homelite 38 chainsaw converted.
But you must have a special chisel , not to dificult to make from an outer ring of a big ball bearing, nice steel.
The wood type is not critical. I make from a wood called "alamo" like a very hard balsa and a bit heavier and no problem.
Good luck
Jose

Too bad, I bet we could scare up alot of homey 25 at yard sales. Hey , here's a thought get the importation dudes into flying....... I have had friends from south america disaasemble a lawnmower and pack it in their suitcases. sounds like cometravi needs a trip to a freetrade country, and a big suit case to take stuff home, just place your dirty underwear over the top of the model engines. Would love to get your sprayer motor sent over just to see if can be converted and what is required to make the engine airworthy.

Look into the bore and measure the diameter where it is narrowest inside.
