RE: help on identifing engine

It's a Homelite

Try Carr Precision

Another source is Wacker engines http://wackerengines.com/

I am not sure Carr Precision is in business anymore as their website has expired for renewal on 5/19/2012. Maybe they will come back.

I can not find Carr Precision on the web?

The engine is a 30cc

The shaft is considered the long type and is probably 3/8"

The optimum size carb to use is a 11.11 mm like a Walbro WT-499

The usual prop is a 18 X 8

RE: help on identifing engine

With the long shaft engine the crankshaft goes all the way through the hub and the prop nut screws onto the original crankshaft threads

RE: help on identifing engine

You can also try www.lambertsrc.com . That is a Homelite 30cc as the others said, and is actually a better engine than a Ryobi. (Lighter and more power.) Ryobi has been using Homelite 30cc engines in their machines lately.
