Counter rotating engines
I got a couple ECHO PB-2400 engines off ebay the other day to convert for a twin. Is it possible to have one counter rotating? With this conversion I was planning to try the OS gas glow plug so ignition shouldn't be a problem. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXEJRG&P=Z.

It may not be worth the trouble when you start looking for props. Our models don't have as much P factor trouble like full scale.

I was thinking of building a SPAD type plane with twin engines like a P-38. I know its not actually necessary to have counter rotating props, but I figure why not try it if I'm making it up as I go?. Anyway I found a 17x6 posher prop from VVRC so I thought I'd give it a go.
I wasn't sure if the engines would run the same if I reversed one. |
