Any reason as to why this wouldnt work for gas/glow with a muffler to pressurize the tank?

Well it should, as long as the carb will richen up enough for the Gas/Glow mix. The Gas/Glow mix provides for around 32:1 oil though, so you would need to add some oil to it because they say "Do not run with less than the manufacturers oil suggestion", which is 20 to 25:1.

I am curious, although not at all informed about gas/glow. Will the oil added to make the mix 20 to 25:1 oil, affect the glow plugs reaction to the now-more-reduced methanol in the fuel mix? I am guessing the need for 20 to 25:1 oil is either no bushings, or just bronze bushings in the con rod?" Also, why pay for the CDI and the regulator if you are not going to use them? Must be other 9/10cc plain glow engines to try. Gas/glow is typically used only for running gasoline engines (roller or ball bearings) with gas/glow mix and a glow plug?

You are absolutely correct. In the past I have been concerned when people wanted to modify the Gas/Glow mix because as created, it has about 33% methanol, which is enough to keep the glow plug lit if you use a four stroke plug. As you say, adding more oil will effectively lower the methanol percentage and perhaps affect operation. The OP doesn't make it clear if he wants to run a glow plug, or keep the ignition. I was rather assuming that since he was buying an ignition engine, that perhaps he wanted to keep the spark ignition, and just use the Gas/Glow fuel mix to get a little more power and cooler running.

Actually i was hoping to nix the ignition on this engine for space constraints on a spad type airplane, but i think that if i just make it a little longer in the fuse ill be able to run it just fine.

I WILL however nix the pump assembly and run a standard rc muffler with pressure line.

The Gas/Glow mix was invented to be able to run engines on glow (OS "F" in this case), however with the new OS G5 "Gas" glow plug this is no longer necessary.
I have experimented with the OS G5 and the NGH GT9 and it works, carb settings are only slightly richer than on EI.
No problems running with muffler pressure but I prefer a pump, I also use higher content oil (15:1), I just feel it is more appropriate for a non bearing conrod in spite of what the manufacturer suggests, performance difference is negligible..

I have known a couple of people who tried the engine using just muffler pressure. It didn't work. I tried it too and it didn't work for me either. The OEM carburetor is the problem. Now if you replaced the carb with a better one, such as using the Evolution 10cc gas engine carburetor, then it ought to work OK. Or you could make an adapter for using a small bore Walbro carburetor instead. The Walbro carb works well on it.
