Homelite tuned pipe setup
 

Is there any reason this setup wouldnt work if i did all the "hop ups" on the homie 25?

It depends on what the pipe was originally designed for versus what you expect this engine to perform like along with many calculations.
Site below might get you started. There should be a calculator in the site somewhere to assist you to get somewhere "in the ballpark".

Thats actualy supposed to be for a homelite engine. Bought it off of ebay, CVEC power systems

Looks to probably have been intended for a boat. Also, the silicone exhaust deflectors will melt on a gasoline engines exhaust usually.

CVEC did a lot of RC car pipes and mufflers in the past - I think they closed down some time ago.

The header is a WTC(wrap to center) one used on r/c boats.The tuned pipe I have never seen.A Homelite in an r/c boat uses a 0 band pipe with the center where it's welded together at between 12 1/4" tto 12 1/2" from the engines exhaust opening face.Adjustments can be made from there,after testing on the water.You find all kinds of claims and junk on Ebay.
