is a mac 60 weed eater engine any good as a conversion?

I've got one of those this weekend and havent had time to look at it. Dont even know its cc's yet. If its not at least 25cc its getting tossed. It looks like it might be a flyable motor though. Piper

Hey J, got the engine out, cleaned up and ready to turn a prop. Looks like the motor is 21cc[:@]. Dont know if it can make enough power to offset its weight. I'll find out but dont hold your breath. If your looking for a good little powerhouse the homelite 25cc is hard to beat. You can most likely get one gave to ya and they make great power on the stock carb. Im flying a 15lb plane with one now and am really liking it. Piper

thanks ill either let the mac 60 hit the trash or give it to someone in need of a weedeater. i just got 2- 31 cc ryobis and a 25 cc homelite sunday at a local flea market for $6.00, ill spend my time and money on them then!
