She Flies!!!!!!! Pic's of Stingray with Ryobi

Well after 4 months and wondering if my stingray with a Ryobi will fly is over. Here are a few pic's I took at the field this weekend. It was cold, but we had a clear day to fly. I have enjoyed building this conversion so much I cannot wait to start another one.:D

AWESOME JIM!!!!:D - Looks Great - How did it perform on the 18x8 prop? Did it have about the right airspeed and vertical climb performance? Did it cruise around at about 1/2 throttle? What's the next project?

Ramrod

The plane had plenty of power and she would just keep on climbing. There was good power at 1/2 throttle, but I seem to have a little miss at half throttle so I know I have some carb adjustments to make. The 18x8 prop worked out real good and seemed to have plenty of thrust for this plane.

My next project is either a 4*60 that I have or maybe another Balsa USA 1/4 scale Fokker DVIII if I can get the money together to but the kit. I think a Ryobi with all of the modes or maybe a homelite 33 would be a good engine for it.:D

Thanks
