Show and tell Time
1 Attachment(s)
Here’s a latest plane I have built to train my students. It was a very easy plane to build and did go fast. I call it a stand off scale like w w 1 something. It has the dimensions of a four star 120. The wings were telemaster with 8 inches chop off on both wings. The back end is also telemaster with 2 bays chop off. And a rudder to fit my mood.
The plane fly’s great the engine mount is steel, seems like the other likes to crack all the time. I gave the engine a little down thrust and mounted it with rubber strips. I am using a 18-8 prop and got 7200 r.p.m. |

RE: Show and tell Time
Jeff,
The plane is very nice. It looks like your Ryobi has found a good home? I was especially attracted to your flying site. I checked out all the stuff in the pits too. I would feel right at home there. You have a nice field. Enjoy, Jim |

Nice looking setup you have there for your Ryobi. This is something I think I am interested in building. Are the deminsions almost like a Birdi Old Timer? I love the old time feel of what you have built.:D Good luck with it. |

Don,t know what a ole birdi is but I did use the deminsions from a four star 120 its seems to be just about right........ was easy to build what I did find out is that I should have stained the wood before glueing......because the stain can't pass where the glue has been.... |
