Conversion Hardware

Hello!!! I was wondering if someone could tell me where I can get the hardware needed to convert a weedeater engine to R/C use (prop hub, etc.)??? Also, what is the rule-of-thumb for the distance between the engine and the receiver to avoid radio interference??? Thanks in advance...

Hi navpro,

If you do asearch on this site you will turn up quite a few; www.wackerengines.com - www.carrprecision.com - www.rcignitions.com - http://bennettbuilt.com/ - and others I'm sure I haven't listed them all. The concensus seems to be at least 12-15 inches from engine and electronic igniton if equipped and if CG allows. Good luck! Ben

[link=http://www.gcbmrc.com]GCBM R/C Models Inc.[/link] is also a great source for quality conversion parts, and they are in Texas.
