New project for the old Homie 25

A fellow club member is quitting flying. (HARLEY) I bought this okd Balsa USA FOKKER E. 111 EINDECKER from him. It is so ugly that I like to refer to it as a FOKKENDECKER. He always went on and on about how he was such a great builder and he was mister perfect BLA BLA BLA His landing gear will attest to this as well as the state-of-art shiney monocoat WWW1 covering and lack of kingpost and brace wires. Anyway this thing flew pretty well with a SAITO 91 and THIRTY THREE oz, of lead in the nose. That is why I decided to go for it. The engine will fit under the cowl, with only a little releif for the carb. I have mounted rudder and elevator servos in rear. I have plenty of room in the radio compartment to move things around and even with 2 1100 mil flight pack batteries it will come in just less than 11 lbs. It is an 80 in wing but I do not know what thw wing aera is. I will risk a hundered bucks this time. :D

Better bend the wheels in a little so that you have toe -in or the thing will be a wild mule on the ground?
Looks good, Jim |
