second plane for 31 cc
Hello Everyone.I am thinking of building/buying an airplane for ryobi 31 cc engine.I want it to be light enough so i 'd have reserve power in the stick yet easy enough for beginner.I feel like i need something bigger then trainer now.Any suggestions??:)Thanks ahead.

Hi:
try a Goldberg Sukhoi, see my post about the 25 cc homelite engine. also you could enlarge the tiger 2 or tiger 60 from Carl Goldberg to 72 - 80 wingspan, easy to built and very cheap. Tatolazo |

Try a Ryans Rebel. 80" wingspan, under 12 lbs with a Ryobi. Great flyer. December 2001 RCM issue. Email me if you would like pics.

Mitty,
My Sukoi was a poor performer with my Homelite 25cc....but I built it heavy, so throw out that opinion. (I now have a US Engines 41cc on it and all I can say is WOW!) I am currently building a Dynaflite Chipmunk for my Ryobi. I think it will be a real gem. Just my thoughts! Tom |

How 'bout the 96" Kangke Monocoupe? Seems this would be a great candidate for a 31 cc gasser?
