Please show your Echo / Kioritz models!

Hi,

I realize I can do about 1000 searches and find information, but can I ask all of you to show your Echo / Kioritz mods? I have just about every category of R/C there is, and am slowly changing everything over to gasoline.

PLEASE if you would, show your Echo equipped car, boat, heli, plane, ANY R/C model you have successfully used an Echo engine with.

I would also like to know reasons why you were not able to use this engine, and how you modified it to work.

Methanol conversions, glow conversions, EVERYTHING PLEASE!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Regards,
Lawnhawk

All BME engines are made with Echo parts, as well as the D&B 3.7 twin...[8D] A search of either website will probably have lots of pictures of Echo powered planes...[8D]
A quick look at the Ridge Machine (D&B) website shows 12 pictures...:D
BME's website has 6 PAGES of pictures....

RCIGN1,

Do you know WHICH parts from the Echo they use? I ask because Echo has not made a 2-stroke twin since the 80's, on their CST-610 saw. They don't really look like Kioritz blocks either. Is there white papers somewhere that verify this?

Sorry, don't mean to sound like I don't believe you. Thanks for the info and any anything else you might know of.

Cylinders, pistons, and cranks on the D&B..I saw the prototypes at Toledo many years ago...Since the cylinders on the Echo twin chainsaw are different, they buy the same side cylinders to get the spark plugs the same on both sides..
BME uses the whole engine on the smaller single, probably only the cylinder and pistons on the other sizes....You could call Keith and ask :D
Any Echo can be converted, some just work better than others....
