How do you set up the kill switch?
I have the original still on the engine.
Can i use any toggle switch to do it?

Here is a pic.

Thanks

RE: Kill switch on ryobi

I've seen all kinds of slide and toggle switches on them but personnally, I would use one with a better rating than the micro variety are capable of.

The switch will work backwards. To make a connection between the wire from the coil and the motor case shuts the ignition off. To have no connection, the engine will run.

Enjoy,

Jim

Jim thanks for the reply.

So, what is a better switch?
This is my first conversion and my first gas.

I went to the Auto parts and got a Heavy duty toggle switch. 20A

Enjoy,

There we go.
Thanks Jim.
The 20A helps a lot.
