How do you set up the kill switch?
I have the original still on the engine. Can i use any toggle switch to do it? Here is a pic. Thanks Bill |
RE: Kill switch on ryobi
I've seen all kinds of slide and toggle switches on them but personnally, I would use one with a better rating than the micro variety are capable of.
The switch will work backwards. To make a connection between the wire from the coil and the motor case shuts the ignition off. To have no connection, the engine will run. Enjoy, Jim |

Jim thanks for the reply.
So, what is a better switch? This is my first conversion and my first gas. Bill |
RE: Kill switch on ryobi
I went to the Auto parts and got a Heavy duty toggle switch. 20A
Enjoy, Jim |

There we go.
Thanks Jim. The 20A helps a lot. Bill |
