Anyone ever run alcohol in there weedy?

I made a glow plug adapter for a stihl 31cc (looks identical to the ryobi) but i havent got a carb for it yet. I tried it in my homelite weedwacker but i couldnt get it to run well. I have read in some other threads on this subject that you need to increase the size of the fuel passages in the carb to compensate for the increase in the fuel required. It might be a better idea to use a walbro carb which is used on glow engines.

Walbro WT499, works with either gas or glow, list price in the latest Walbro book is $48.18....Dealers pay a lot less, be aware...:D
