Ryobi cylinders/pistons, single to dual ring interchangeable?
 

I have an older long shaft Ryobi and new twin piston ring short shaft Ryobi. Is it possible to exchange the cylinder/piston assembly from the twin ring engine onto the long shaft crankshaft assembly? This would save me time and money and upgrade the performance of this engine I’m assuming and I would not have to make a new prop shaft adapter.
