This is embaressing...Ryobi .
After putting bowman rings in my Ryobi.... I accidentally used straight gas (no oil!!) . It only ran for about 20 seconds. Should I tear it down and verify the cylinder isn't glazed, or do you think it should still be ok.
Compression is low, but it had new rings that haven't seated. Thanks in advance, Scott |

It'll be OK. Just continue on with a good fuel mix.
Enjoy, Jim |

Take off the muffler and look into the cylinder. You should be able to see the cylinder with the piston at bdc and you should see the rings when you go towards tdc, but being that gas does have some lubricating qualities, I think you just sped up the break in:D
