Husky 61.5cc conversion

Well finally got the crankcase sawed out of the chainsaw :O( Painted the case red and mounted the jug. Looks pretty good, weighs 3lb 8oz bare. My question is concerning the prop adapter. I have a metal lathe but not much experience with it. I am assuming the best solution is to make an adapter to fit the taper and internally threaded on the engine side and internally threaded on the prop side to accept a 3/8x24 shaft. The only other way I see to do it, is like a G23. Will use the chain side shaft to mount sensor ring. Any other ideas or comments? Good luck, red

You can put your magnet in the prop hub. The hub in the pics is my poulan 46cc motor.

Thanks

Small planes,
What are you using for an engine mount on that 46cc? Is it home built? Could you post some pictures of the mount?

The mount is a hanger 9 mount. I got it from a friend,i think it's the largest mount you can get. I made the muffler, the prop hub and the carb mount.

Thanks

Haven't done a thing to it since removing from saw. Have other projects going and will get back to this when I get a plane that can use it. My current project is 73" Extra and am thinking of using a 45cc Tartan twin I got recently, or a 33cc Echo. Which would you use? red
