I'd want some adjustments, but it looks like one of their rotory valve carbs like on small glow motors. Can't tell from the pics

The low end adjustment is sealed using some type of glue, if you look into the end of the sliding barrel itself, you will se (deep down) a bit of redish glue, this is covering the slot for the low end needle. You can dig this out (I used a dental tool) and have the low end adjustment. Hope this helps. I have those carbs on my Four stroke gassers.

Hi,
Did you have to make any other changes to the carbs for four stroke use or did yhey come with the engines? I have some 11mm versions off Toro trimmer engines that I would like to use with my Ryobi 4 cycle. I thought that a spring or something had to be added to the pump section. I read that you can also drill out the main jet to 0.015" (1/64th) for better performance. Their is in a Ryobi 4C thread on RCU with this info.

I had that carb on a 30cc Homelite. Use that small screw...it will work wonders.

If you want to keep the barrel style carburetor but need one with both high and low adjustments, you need a WYK series carb. The online go-ped parts places have some WYK series carbs available, but they're mostly 13.5mm venturi sized carbs, which I'm not sure but may be too big for your engine. Other WYK series carbs are available but have to be special ordered. You go to Walbro's website and contact someone there about special ordering them.

Cheers,
Charlie
