Craftsman Eng.
Hi everyone,
I am just getting started into the gas thing. I have a Craftsman weedie that I want to use. My problem is that I don't know who made it or where I can get parts for it. Sears mod. #358.798560. Also on the case is a # BIO 037318 I don't even know what size it is. Hope some of you can help!! This eng. is flat on the rear. It could be mounted using a couple of washers. I like that better than the stand off that goes on the Ryobi. I have one of those also if I can't get parts. Thanks in advance to all that are willing to help me out!! |
RE: Craftsman Eng.
What about throwing a picture on here for us? Maybe we can identify by sight?
Enjoy, Jim |
RE: Craftsman Eng.
Call Sears and give them the stock no. They should be able to tell you all about the engine. OR Go to sears website...and enter model no...bingo thre is all the data. Good luck

Hi Gone,
I did a little quick research and came up with a 25cc Poulan/weedeater. Do a search and you will find tons of posts on RCU foe these engines.. Dave |
RE: Craftsman Eng.
I looked it up on the Sears sight and looked at the picture. Its a Poulan Weed Eater alright. It has the backwards flywheel on it.
I also noticed a Walbro WA 224 or 226 carb and it will use a RCJ-8Y champion plug. |
RE: Craftsman Eng.
Yes, Poulan makes all the craftsman weed eaters, chainsaws, blowers, and hedge trimmers.
