Zama Carb Question

1 Attachment(s)
I'm doing a Ryobi conversion with C&H on a 4*120.

I have a bad case of CRS, and I can't remember which nipple to put my clunk line on.

One nipple comes straight out of the carb--near the needles. The other nipple comes out the other side and it makes a 90* (degree) turn.

I think the nipple that turns 90* is the one that had the primer bulb. But, I can't remember.

I think the straight nipple next to the needles is the one that came straight from tha tank.

I'm not using a primer buld. So, I need to crimp and solder one of these nipples.

I'm posting a pic of the side of the carb where the needles are. You can see the straight nipple just to the right of the needle. The other 90* nipple is on the other side of the carb.

Which one do I connect to the clunk?

I feel like an idiot---by the way.

Thanks

RE: Zama Carb Question

I too am a victim of CRS at times:o)
The pipe nearest the needles is the primer and goes directly into the metering chamber. The pipe nearest the single screw cover is the supply and goes to the clunk. Good luck, red

RE: Zama Carb Question

No need to solder it...just place a short piece of fuel line on nipple with a stopper. That way you can always use primer if needed. Capt,n
