STIHL 27CC SPECIFICATIONS

This engine looks to be a little power house stock. Cost $129.00 in a G-45 trimmer. Prop range 16-8 to 18- 8.
No load engine RPM is 9500. Weight with mag, stock muffler, prop hub, zinger 16-8 prop and DuBro 3" spinner is 67 ounces about 4 lbs. This weight can be cut way down. This info was from a Stihl conversion web.( Hints and Tips for RC Modelling ) Pan down to Stihl conversions, I got mine yesterday, need to get to work on it.

Tim, just type in( Hints and Tips for RC modelling ) in your search bar and it will bring it up as a web then just click on it and it will take you there. I have a 23cc Stihl with EI turns a 16-8 at 8400 RPM. I don't think you even have to do any porting on them.

Thanks Dave. That looks like what I am expecting soon. Have to weigh it against the Toros I have done.

ok so i am almost done converting one of these this is my second conversion i retained the stock ignition on this the only cutting i had to do was to shorten the front crank a bit so my adapter would go on easily,
