factory EI?

I see a few weed wackers and chainsaws with factory electronic ignition. Are these useable for airplanes or are they just junk??

They're just calling the mag rotor and coil an electronic ignition..
My definition of electronic ignition is one that uses a battery and sensor, no magnets and coil.....

Useable but heaver than EI, but also cheaper.

i have noticed others mention Falcon Ignitions. Is there a way to look at all the manufactures and purchase them on the web? i know about CH already i just noticed there are atleast 2 other manufacturers of EI systems besides yourself Ralph. i am kinda wanting to play with one on my homelites.
