RE: Thread Size?

Captain,
It says here it is 8x1.25mm. That would have been my guess for this size Japanese engine.

Davewallace: Hey....thats a nice site....your right the G 38 is 8x1.25. Is that the same size as 25cc Homelite? I bet not, because the adapter off my G38 does not seem the same. I bet the Homelite is American 5/16x?. Thanks Capt,n

Can anyone tell me what size threads are on a Gt 25 like sold by Scott? The one barrel version? A metric nut does not seem to thread on. also need to know thread size on a MB290 Mac. Thanks Capt,n[&:]

RE: Thread Size?

Captain,
The Toro has a 8x1.0mm stud at the flywheel and a 8x1.25mm stud at the rear. Most of Scotts early 25cc conversions were Toro as I recall.
