I found what apears to be a 28cc engine, looks like a kioritz but not sure if they made a 28cc or not . The only marks I could find was what looks like three Christmas trees lying on there side in a square and a #1. If anyone knows if this the logo for Kioritz or Echo please reply.
Thanks Gryohead:eek: |

RE: Logo
Buck 1856, Thanks for the reply, I though I saw this talked about in another thread, but could not find it. The only engine that looks like it is a Quadra Q52 and I don't know if these are based on Kioritz engines or not.
Thanks again Gryohead:) |
RE: Logo
Quadra engines base engine are Mcullah i believe. If you want a good thread check out the thread (dont forget echo),i wish i new how to post a link in here from another thread.hopefully someone will tell me how.In this thread ,Keith from BME(wich uses echo parts as there base engine) tells what they did to hop up there 24cc echo.its probably a 26,just a quess.if you know how to find the displacment of a cyl you can find the exact ccs.if you need the equation i can give it to ya.

RE: Logo
To my knowledge, a Quadra is based on a Quadra. They are not related to anything else except the US Engines.
To post a link..... Go to the site you want the link to. Click on the address bar at the top to highlight it. Then right click and select copy. RE: Logo
Buck 1856,as close as I can measure the bore is 35mm and the stroke is 30mm, I belive that comes out to 28.8cc if I'm right. I ran it yesterday on gas/glow and it turned a dynathrust 18x8 at 7700rpm which I think are good #'s for a stock engine.I'm going to rework the in and ex ports and use a 11.1mm carburator.I'm looking for around 8500rpm.

RE: Logo
Buck1856, I did a 61 twin and love it. Mine were very hard to come by then I found several and bought them. Have a few more here to get to. Do you have any progress pictures? Always interested in others work.
