25 cc is worht changing igniton

Was wondering if it is worth changing the ignition to electronic on 25cc engines for weight or should I keep flywheel and coil. What do you think.

It depends if the motor is to heavy for what it's in.

Also have you considered Gas-Glow instead of spark ignition?

I got a couple of royal plans that I am going to build and would like to put this engine in. The plans call for a .60-.85 glow engines.

I did it to mine. I got a CH cdi and a S/S cdi on 2 of my 25. and I got about 200 300 more RPMs out of them. and it did work grate for geting the LBS down. So I say that it is well werth it. Now you can get a unit from CH for about 100 bucks.

all the other gassers I got I have on gas/glow. That is the way to go if you can get 10/10 fuel to mix up with your gas. You get all the good of gas and good of glow with out the bad of them. but like I sead getting the fuel is the set back. alot of hobby shops to not have the 10/10 glow fuel.
