RE: Nedd help with idetnify thi engine
This is how you look up Echo equipment.
http://www.echo-usa.com/documentation.asp It's a 21cc engine. The engine it's self is a good engine. Other cylinders fit the the engine block. The 23.6 cc engine is the best over all engine to build but this is a good one also. Most echo engines are very good and have a following all their own. There are a couple of companys the build RC engines using Echo as there base engine. Prop hubs and other conversion parts are available on ebay as well as other companys on the internet. What are you going to put it on? |

More problems
Some one cutoff the ignetion cable from the spark plug connector. Do I have to use resistor connector? How to connect new connector to the cable? Thanks |
RE: Need help with idetnify this engine
If the remaining wire is long enough to still reach the head of the spark plug within a half inch I suggest clamping on a new spark plug cap( part 33, normally clamps onto wire) which can be purchased online at a lawn mower shop or hardware store. If the remaining wire does NOT come close i would just replace the magneto and wire (Part 36 in your manual)

RE: Need help with idetnify this engine
Thanks
The wire is too short I do not have spare coil, so I think to solder a new part of hi voltage wire to enlarge it till the spark plug. Did any body use this idea? and write how to do it ? |
